Livvy Dunne Coordinates Plunging Blue Halter Dress With Paul Skenes’ Navy Lapels for Rookie of the Year Honor at BBWAA Awards Dinner 2025
Livvy Dunne opted for a classic look last night. The gymnast and influencer went with a tried and true silhouette while attending the 100th Centennial New York Baseball Writers’ Dinner, where her boyfriend Paul Skenes was honored with Rookie of the Year.
Dunne accompanied Skenes, who pitches for the Pittsburgh Pirates, to the event in New York City while wearing a navy halter gown. The LSU star gymnast embraced the plunging neckline trend for the occasion and paired her V-neck dress with diamond-encrusted hoop earrings.

Beauty-wise, Dunne wore her hair in long waves and favored winged eyeliner with smokey eyeshadow and a pink lip.
Dunne and Skenes coordinated looks for the occasion with the baseball player’s tuxedo picking up on the navy in her gown. Skene wore a black jacquard tuxedo with a satin navy lapel and a velvet bowtie.
The athletic couple both participated in sports while at LSU. Skenes played on the baseball team while Dunne still competes with the gymnastic team — now in her fifth and final season. Dunne, who became the youngest athlete in the U.S. to qualify as a junior international elite in 2014, joined the team in 2020 on a full athletic scholarship and was named a WCGA All-American, WCGA Academic All-American and first-year SEC Academic Honor Roll Honoree during her freshman season.
Skenes confirmed his relationship with Dunne in August of 2023 after she was seen rooting for him when he pitched for the Bradenton Marauders. Less than a year later Dunne celebrated on TikTok when Skenes was recruited for the Pittsburgh Pirates.
2024 was also a breakout year for Dunne, who was tapped by Nautica to star in its fall campaign and inked deals brands including Vuori and American Eagle, as well as Sports Illustrated. Last year Dunne, who has more than 5 million followers on Instagram and 8 million on TikTok, also signed a multimillion-dollar deal with Passes, a content creation platform designed to help creators diversify their revenue streams, scale their likenesses and connect with fans on a deeper level through exclusive videos, livestreams and other content.
