‘Live With Kelly And Mark’ Averages Best Weekly Audience In Nearly 3 Years, Franchise Up 4% Versus Last Season
EXCLUSIVE: In a world of declining TV ratings, especially for daytime, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos appear to be the exception.
That is to say, people are still watching Live With Kelly and Mark. The syndicated daytime talk show averaged nearly 2.7M viewers per episode during the week of January 15, marking the most-watched week for any syndicated talk show in about two years (since a week of Dr. Phil in January 2022), according to live+same day Nielsen data.

It is also show’s best week since the Ripa and Consuelos became co-hosts, as well as the strongest week for the franchise in nearly three years.
Week-over-week, Live managed an 11% increase in total viewers, up from 2.4M L+SD viewers the week prior.
Diving deeper, the talk show tallied three of its most-watched telecasts this season during the week of January 15, with the most-watched on Tuesday, January 16, when actors Jason Priestly and Brit Marling made appearances. More than 2.8M people tuned in for that episode, L+SD data shows.
This season, Live with Kelly and Mark is up 4% over the comparable weeks last season, averaging about 2.4M viewers across all episodes. While not a massive gain, it’s still a testament to the show’s overall popularity, since not many daytime syndicated talk shows can claim a year-over-year audience increase this season.
As for the household ratings, which is used by syndicated talk shows to measure success moreso than ratings from a specific demographic, Live is up 1% over the comparable weeks last season with a 1.6.
The week of January 15 was a strong one in terms of ratings as well, with the show delivering a 1.8, which is the best the franchise has seen in three years. Unsurprisingly, Live is also doing well particularly among women, scoring its second highest-rated week of the season among Women 25-54 with a 0.58 rating.
Consuelos joined his wife Ripa as co-host of the syndicated Live with Kelly and Mark on April 17, taking over for longtime co-host Ryan Seacrest. Seacrest exited the show on April 14 after six seasons. Since then, it’s become clear that audiences are liking the husband-wife duo on air, as ratings have been up across the board.
