Pilates is taking over TikTok. It seems like everyone is sharing the strength-building benefits of both mat Pilates and reformer Pilates (you know, the classes with the scary-looking machines?). Celebrities like Miley Cyrus, Hailey Bieber and Lori Harvey swear by it, too. Reformer Pilates is usually done in a studio because the reformer machines are big, bulky and often expensive. However, a Pilates reformer adds resistance and balance versus using your own body weight on a mat, and some people really like it.

If you want to try reformer-style pilates at home, but don’t want to add a massive machine to your living room, the LIT AXIS by LIT METHOD may be for you. Essentially, it’s a smart resistance band system that, according to the brand, replaces a Pilates reformer, free weights, a cable machine and a ski-erg. Additionally, the bands have built-in sensors. They connect to your phone, tablet or TV via Bluetooth to provide real-time data and feedback to help you correct your form and get a more balanced workout. Additionally, LIT offers Pilates and strength training classes to help you get the most out of your bands.

The LIT AXIS also doesn’t require batteries or charging, and you can anchor it to a door, sofa leg, tree or any other sturdy structure at home. (You can also use it free-standing.) When finished, you can roll it up and put it away in its handy, compact carrying case. This means it’s also pretty portable — you can move it from room to room or even take it on vacation. Take a look at the brand’s demo video below:

The LIT AXIS comes in black, cherry red and pearl white for $199. However, it’s on sale for $159. Each kit includes a pair of AXIS Smart Sensors to pair with any device via Bluetooth, two pairs of adjustable LIT bands, a pair of handles, a pair of ankle cuffs, a universal anchor for multiple attachment points and a lightweight carrying case.

Additionally, each LIT Axis comes with three free months of the LIT Training app with live and on-demand classes. After the trial, membership is $9.99 per month or $79 per year.

“I’ve always wanted a reformer of my own, but never had the space,” wrote one reviewer on LIT METHOD’s website. “This is the perfect alternative. It packs away into a small carrying case that is easy for travel and quick to set up. Tugging to activate doesn’t always catch first time, but the pilates videos —especially with Tiffany W — give me the same workout in the privacy of my own home or on the go, without the boutique studio cost.”

“I bought the LIT Axis a little over a month ago and I absolutely love it!” wrote another customer. “I used to go to pilates classes at a studio, but it was starting to add up. I found LIT AXIS while Googling the best at-home pilates workout kits and this immediately caught my eye. I cannot wait to share my results and I already feel stronger with their convenient 20-minute workout classes on demand.”

LIT Method also offers free shipping, and if you don’t like it, you can send it back within 30 days for free. Looking at the reviews, though, it seems to really work, and you’re going to love it.
