Australia is very much used to seeing Lisa Wilkinson and Tracy Grimshaw looking television ready.

But ahead of this year’s Logie Awards, both presenters showed off their natural sides.

Posting a barefaced selfie to Instagram, The Project host Lisa gave followers a glimpse at her “red carpet construction… with an eye mask”.

“But ladies, this is the real me,” Lisa said in the caption, encouraging her followers to embrace their natural sides.

“No makeup. Just remember, everything you see from here is all smoke and mirrors and the talented hands of @goochihairandmakeup,” she said.

A Current Affair presenter Tracy also took to Instagram show what went into her Logies preparation process.
