Caitlin Clark and Washington Mystics head coach Eric Thibault had a very funny exchange Thursday, and lip-readers think they know what it was about.

So many people came to see the Mystics and Fever regular-season finale. In fact, it was the largest regular-season crowd in WNBA history. Fans were likely in attendance to see Washington potentially make the playoffs and, of course, to see Caitlin Clark.

But, everyone who came to see Caitlin might have been disappointed that she didn't play a full game, as she was on a minutes restriction ahead of the WNBA playoffs — everyone except Eric Thibault. Some good internet sleuths think they caught Eric chatting it up with Caitlin as she checked back in mid-game. Lip-readers believe he told her, "You don't have to come back in."
