When it comes to crowning the most fashionable mother-daughter duo, the competition is stiff. Kaia Gerber and Cindy Crawford regularly grace red carpets together, often in matching glitter dresses, no less. As do Reese Witherspoon and her lookalike daughter Ava Phillippe, who could easily pass as sisters. And let’s not forget Amelia Gray and Lisa Rinna, who equally share a love for OTT style.
That! Said!!! We think Kate and Lila Moss might have just secured the crown with their latest coordinating looks. It was no surprise to see the pair taking on Paris Fashion Week, with the 22-year-old quite literally following in her mother’s footsteps by strutting down the same designer runways as the iconic supermodel. However, rather than being spotted on the catwalk or the highly-coveted front row, Kate and Lila were photographed strolling throughout the city streets looking chic AF.
The key element of their correlating ensembles? Head-to-toe black, obvi. I mean, as any fashionista can tell you, black is always the new black.
Now for the details. Lila’s combination of a black, long-line leather jacket layered over a chunky knit jumper and leather mini skirt nailed autumn/winter style. She added transparent tights and black leather knee-high boots, tucking a black shoulder bag under one arm to perfectly complete her ‘fit.
Kate dressed to match her daughter in a thin black knit top that featured three-quarter-length sleeves embellished with feathered cuffs—a big AW24 fashion trend, FYI. The supermodel paired the textured top with leather trousers tucked into knee-high, heeled boots complete with wrap-around tie detailing. As for accessories? She carried a leopard print oversized tote bag—a statement animal print closely associated with the British icon.
