TikTok goes wild for mess-free air fryer toastie recipe
There's nothing like a super easy air fryer recipe, especially when it's done in four easy steps.
Currently circulating the internet is Lee Wakefield's TikTok toastie recipe using four household ingredients and, of course, the limitless air fryer.
"Decided to give the air fryer toastie hack a go today," Lee writes. "Definitely a winner!"
Lee uses two slices of white bread and places stripped ham on one side, before layering with cheese.
He then adds the other slice and uses his fingers to make a round indentation on top of the top slice.
Next, he places the bread inside the air fryer and cracks an egg into the centre of the pushed-in area and layers the outer area again with cheese.

With preparation done, he cooks the toastie at 180 degrees for five minutes and opens the tray to reveal a crispy, oozy cheesy egg and ham toastie.
More than 66,000 people have liked the video already with over a thousand people sharing their delight with the results.
"Oohhh i am going to try this. Looks good," one person wrote.
"Watched video. 15 mins later I’m making one," a second admitted.
"I’m doing this right now!" said someone else.
