Camilla Parker-Bowles enjoys a dip during royal tour
Camilla Parker-Bowles has stepped out for a dip in the Caribbean’s famed azure waters during her and Prince Charles’ royal tour of the region.
Clad in a turquoise one-piece, the Duchess of Cornwall, 71, was joined by a male friend who sported a pair of blue swim shorts.
Despite Charles missing the excursion, the 70-year-old prince attracted attention of his own last week, when he stepped out for a swim in Barbados.
And while a jaunt to the beach is among the top to-dos for any visitor to the Caribbean, the royals’ trip to the region has been dominated by work much more than play.
The couple are mid-way through a marathon tour of the Caribbean which will see them visit six countries in 12 days, while undertaking a mammoth 50 engagements.
Following stops on the islands of St Lucia, St Vincent, Barbados, St Kitts and Nevis, the couple are now in Cuba as part of a historic four-day visit.
In fact, Camilla and Charles’ arrival marks the first time members of the British royal family have stepped foot in the country since it came under communist rule more than 50 years ago.
