Meet The Raccoon Who Thinks She's A Dog

Pumpkin the raccoon doesn't live an ordinary life.

Unlike other raccoons, the one-year-old animal can use the toilet, eats watermelon and most of all loves acting like a dog.

The adorable creature was found by Bahamas resident Rosie Kemp after she had fallen from a tree.

Rosie decided to keep Pumpkin and later her daughter Laura Young adopted the fur-ball, raising her alongside the family's two dogs, Toffee and Oreo.

“She instantly bonded with us and our two rescue dogs and follows me and our two dogs everywhere we go,” Young told The Dodo.

“She now thinks she is a dog… she is able to play and be rough with them and she respects them when they have had enough.”

Now Pumpkin and her canine friends have almost 55,000 followers on Instagram, who love seeing the raccoon act just like a dog, sleeping on the bed, sprawling on the couch and jumping into the water.

As they say, it's a dog's life. Or should that be raccoon's life?
