That’s right, Blair Waldorf and Lily van der Woodsen — well, Leighton Meester and Kelly Rutherford to be precise — linked up at the Elie Saab Womenswear Fall/Winter 2025-2026 fashion show on Saturday, March 8.
The Gossip Girl stars had a mini reunion in the front row of the Paris Fashion Week show at Palais De Tokyo — a long way from New York City's Upper East Side — and appeared to have plenty to catch up about.
Meester, 38, and Rutherford, 56 — who played Blair and Lily, mom to Blake Lively’s Serena van der Woodsen — chatted it up at the Elie Saab show, per footage of their reunion shared on X. The duo also shared a hug, another video from the event shows.
Rutherford also shared a video of the stars’ front-row fashion week interaction on her Instagram Stories, reposting a clip that a guest snapped of the duo chatting and captioned, “A MOMENT!!!!!!!!”

Meester appeared to attend the fashion show solo, bringing an early spring in a stunning floral gown. The style icon — on- and off-screen — paired the black and green dress with a simple silver chain and hoops, and added a touch of warmth with her red hair and complementary glam.

Rutherford, meanwhile, made a rare appearance with her 18-year-old son Hermés Giersch, one of the first times the mother-son duo has returned to the public eye since the star’s lengthy legal battle with her ex-husband, German businessman Daniel Giersch, ended 10 years ago.
For the rare family outing, the Gossip Girl alum and mom of two sported a rose gold, midi-length gown with shimmering, embroidered details and sheer, wide-cut sleeves. She paired the dress with brown sunglasses, white pumps and an understated matte pink lip, her blonde hair tucked neatly behind her ears.

The Gossip Girl cast — which also includes Ed Westwick, Chace Crawford and Penn Badgley — have had several reunions since the popular series ended after six seasons in 2012. Most recently, the actors came together to mourn costar Michelle Trachtenberg after her sudden death in February at age 39.
In a statement shared with PEOPLE, Westwick, 37, who played Chuck Bass for the show's original run from 2007 to 2012, said, “It’s been a long time since I’ve seen Michelle but I remember a talented, sharp, funny and warm soul. Thinking of her and the family. So sad.’”

Crawford, 39, who found breakout fame as Nate Archibald on the series, penned a sweet post about the “one of a kind” actress on Instagram.
“I remember her coming on set for the first time and just absolutely owning it,” he said of the late star. “She was a force of nature and just so so unapologetically funny and magnetic.. remembering those years with a big smile. Just a terrible loss. Love you ❤️.”
Lively, 37, also shared a lengthy tribute to Trachtenberg on Instagram. "The world lost a deeply sensitive and good person in Michelle," the actress said in part. "May her work and her huge heart be remember by those who were lucky enough to experience her fire."
