Lea Michele Shares Trip to See “Wicked” on Broadway with Her Son: ‘My Heart Literally Exploded'

Lea Michele is enjoying a mommy moment!
On Sunday, Jan. 29, the actress, 38, revealed that she and her son Ever Leo, 4, went to watch Wicked on Broadway.
Sharing a photo on her Instagram Stories, Michele posed beside members of the cast and Ever, who she shares with husband Zandy Reich.
While Mary Kate Morrissey was dressed as Elphaba, Alexandra Socha was sporting her character Glinda’s costume. Meanwhile, Ever and another little girl's faces were covered with large love heart emojis.
“20 years later after seeing @wicked_musical for the first time I can’t believe I’m back now with my son…,” Michele wrote across the photo.
“And he knows every word to ‘Defying Gravity.’ My heart literally exploded,” she proudly continued.

Concluding her note, Michele added, “Thank you so much to the incredible cast for making our day and for such an incredible show!”
The Glee alum then shared another photo with Socha and Ever, writing, “And what a joy reuniting with my Spring Awakening family @alexandrasocha who was FANTASTIC as Glinda!” Both Michelle and Socha have previously starred in Spring Awakening.

Michele’s mother-and-son time comes after she attended the movie premiere for Wicked, which stars actresses Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo, in New York City back in November.
Sharing a snap of herself getting ready at the time, the star wore a breast pump while sporting a full face of makeup. "Accessories are a little different these days. 👛," her funny caption read.
Michele and Reich welcomed their second baby in August 2024. "Our hearts are so full 🤍 Emery Sol Reich 💕," the mother of two wrote as she shared a photo of her daughter’s feet.
Reflecting on her year as she celebrated New Year’s Eve, Michele posted a photo of her family of four standing on a mountain.
“2024 ✨you made so many dreams come true. Beyond grateful and happy. My heart is full. So much to look forward to in 2025!💫,” she wrote.
