Yahoo Lifestyle Lainey Wilson Honors Her 'Deddy' on Father's Day: "He Taught Me Everything"
Each Father's Day, social media is flooded with an influx of tributes for dad. This year one country queen's post stood out from the rest.
Lainey Wilson posted the most heartfelt tribute for her dad, Brian Wilson, ahead of Father's Day on June 16. The "Country's Cool Again" songstress is known for her country roots (and accent of course) and her down-to-earth personality. Lainey paid her dad the ultimate compliment, attributing these qualities to her dad's positive influence.
She shared a carousel of photos including a snap of her and her dad sitting in a tractor, which one fan called "a classic country kid picture," a photo of her dad standing on a horse and a close up of the Wilson Farms logo.
"In honor of Father’s Day comin’ up this weekend, I want to say thank you to my deddy.
He’s taught my everything there is to know about hard work, dedication, staying true to yourself, and most of all, learning to enjoy what you have and the world around you. These are the values that keep me grounded...especially when I’m going 90 to nothing. It’s what #lifeouthere means to me and deddy, I just want to say thank you for instilling such important values in me from an early age. Happy early Father’s day ❤️," Lainey captioned her tribute.
