Who is Princess Diana's niece Kitty's rumoured 60-year-old boyfriend?

Princess Diana’s niece has been spotted holidaying with her rumoured 60-year-old fashion tycoon boyfriend Michael Lewis in the Hamptons, according to reports.

Lady Kitty Spencer, 28, who has a public Instagram account, posted a photo next to a riviera with a telling caption.

“The most romantic place on earth,” she captioned the image, presumably directing it at the faceless person behind the camera.

The fire was only stoked when she then shared a shot from the Hamptons days later.

She tagged the location as the Hamptons with the caption: “Perfect Hamptons evening.”

According to Page Six, the model was “spotted with Lewis strolling in Southampton after she returned from Lake Como, Italy, where she appeared at an event for Bulgari.”

Who is Lewis?

Multimillionaire Lewis is the owner of high street chain Whistles, which was bought by South African clothing retail company, Foschini Group, in 2016.

He’s over five years older than Lady Kitty’s father Earl Charles Spencer, and a whopping 32 years older than his rumoured girlfriend.

Lady Kitty was first linked to Lewis last summer, when The Mail on Sunday reported the relationship.

The pair were also spotted leaving The Mark Hotel in New York (where Meghan had her baby shower) in May, but they were trying to be discreet, as she emerged only after he had exited.

Lady Kitty was previously in a relationship with Niccolò Barattieri di San Pietro. She split from the wealthy property developer, then 45, in 2017.

He has since reportedly enjoyed dates with Liz Hurley.

Overnight hit

Prince William and Prince Harry’s cousin revealed she had gained half a million new followers on Instagram after the royal wedding in May 2018.

Speaking to Marie Claire Australia earlier this month, Lady Kitty said: “I thought I was in someone else’s account.

“I turned off my phone – it was a bit overwhelming. I felt like someone was watching me!”

She topped all the best dressed lists for her stunning green hand-painted Dolce & Gabbana dress for the wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor.

Born on 28 December 1990, Lady Kitty Eleanor Spencer is the eldest child of Earl Charles Spencer and his first wife, former fashion model Victoria Lockwood.

She was raised in Cape Town, South Africa but split her time between there and England after her parents divorced in 1997.
