Lady Gaga deserves a gold medal. Adding to the pomp and circumstance of this year's Olympic Games in Paris, Mother Monster appeared during the event's Opening Ceremony, adding a dash of high-watt glam and over-the-top camp to the proceedings. As athletes from participating countries floated down the Seine River in the heart of Paris—Eiffel Tower in the background and all—Gaga performed “Mon Truc en Plumes” (“My Thing With Feathers”).

Like any other Gaga performance, she didn't hold back when it came to her costume and delivery. Though it's tough to outshine the City of Light, Gaga did just that wearing not just one, but four different—and equally spectacular—outfits for occasion that perfectly complemented the theme of the track.

When first appearing on stage, Gaga donned a Dior Haute Couture black feather jacket, which her dancers removed to reveal a strapless black bustier and panties by Dior that featured a stair-grazing train embroidered with sequins and feathers in black and pink—the same pink feathers that her dancers used in fan form to dial up the drama of her performance.

Before taking a moment to slow things down for the piano segment of her song, Gaga stripped away the long train to give fans a full view of her bustier and panties, worn with a headpiece, black heels, and tall black opera gloves—all by Dior—to tickle at the keys. But Gaga still had one more outfit change in store—her dancers added a white feathered pompom to the back of her panties once it was time to pick up the tempo of the song again.

Before today's performance, there had been rampant speculation about Gaga's appearance at this year's Opening Ceremony. Earlier this week, she was seen on a barge with a piano on the Seine, which basically confirmed to Little Monsters everywhere that Gaga would be involved with this year's games someway, somehow. Gaga has performed at some of the biggest sporting events, ever, having already shown up and shown out at the Super Bowl, and has proven to be a big NBA fan, as well.
