Yahoo Lifestyle La La Anthony Wants to Create ‘Tailor-made Experiences’ for Different Communities as Airbnb’s Newest Creative Adviser
La La Anthony is adding a new job — Airbnb’s creative adviser — to her résumé.
The media personality is bringing her expertise in entertainment and her Hollywood connections to create new experiences in partnership with the platform.

“I get to help Airbnb with their strategic alignment with entertainment partners, celebrities, influencers, studios, production companies, all that stuff. I’m excited about bringing some really cool activations and experiences that we can all be a part of to get closer to our favorite movies, our favorite celebrities, our favorite music albums,” Anthony told WWD.
The businesswoman wants to take this opportunity to bring more diversity to Airbnb’s activations. “We want to create more tailor-made experiences that resonate with different communities culturally. That’s really, really important to me and something I’m excited to dive into,” she said.
To start, Anthony is inviting guests to stay in her La La Land house in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., which she designed “from top to bottom.” “You’re getting a piece of La in everything from the sheets to the decor to all the neon signs on the wall,” she said.
The inspiration behind the house’s decor could be defined as “a girls’ night out.” “I wanted a place where girls would do a girls’ getaway or a bachelorette trip or moms who need some time to hang with friends,” she explained.
The 2,491-square-foot property includes five customized bedrooms, four bathrooms, an outdoor patio and a pool for lounging. The bathrooms are stocked with hair care products from Anthony’s own brand, Inala.
Bookings for the La La House will open on Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET at airbnb.com/lalaland. Guests can request to book the first three one-night stays on Feb. 2, 3 and 4 for the special price of $7. Those who book the initial three one-night stays will also meet Anthony in person. The listing will be available for additional bookings throughout 2024.
Anthony said that new activations with Airbnb will be revealed “really soon.” “I have a lot of friends in the entertainment business and I really want to connect them with Airbnb. You’re going to hear about some great announcements with people I’m close to and people I know who are really going to do some cool stuff with Airbnb,” she said.
