Krispy Kreme's Pumpkin Spice Doughnut Is Back This Weekend Only — Plus a Glazed Dozen Is $2

The fall doughnut and buy-one-get-one deal are available at the bakery chain from Sept. 20 until Sept. 22

A popular Krispy Kreme doughnut is having a short and sweet return.

Customers can get their hands on the Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut from Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 22. The seasonal treat has the same glossy look of an original glazed doughnut but with pumpkin spice flavor “in every melt-in-your-mouth bite,” per a press release.

In celebration of the doughnut’s brief reprisal, a dozen of Original Glazed Doughnuts will be priced at just $2 with the purchase of any other full-priced dozen (like the PS doughnuts). In-store guests can get up to two BOGO deals but online orders are limited to just one. If ordering online or via the app, just plug in the code “BOGO2.”

The returning treat may only be available for a few days but Krispy Kreme has a vast lineup of autumnal options.

The Golden Harvest Collection was released on Sept. 16 and features four new and returning treats — Maple Buttercreme Doughnut, Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut, Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut and Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut.

The first of the brand-new doughnuts is the Maple Buttercreme Doughnut, which takes an original glazed doughnut and tops it with maple-flavored buttercream and fall-themed sprinkles.

The Oatmeal Kreme Pie Doughnut is another newbie. This is an unglazed doughnut with cream filling that is dipped in cookie dough-flavored icing and streusel crumbles. It is topped with a mini oatmeal cookie.

The last of the new doughnuts is the Salted Caramel Cheesecake Doughnut: an original glazed doughnut decorated with dulce de leche and cream cheese-flavored buttercream. The baked good is topped with crunchy salted caramel pieces.

The Spiced Apple Filled Doughnut is the only returning dessert in the Golden Harvest Collection. A cinnamon sugar doughnut is chock-full of apple filling, making for a handheld pie-like bite.

If pumpkin lovers are sad to see the Pumpkin Spice Glazed Doughnut leave after this weekend, there is no need to fear. The Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut rolled out on Aug. 12 and will continue to be available after this weekend’s doughnut departs.
