Kobe Bryant Hooped It Up at This Over-the-Top Arizona Home. Now It Can Be Yours for $23.5 Million.
Always wanted to own a mega-mansion primed for entertaining, especially one packed with glitzy sports amenities—an underground basketball court that’s hosted the late Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Kobe Bryant and a museum-quality display of Michael Jordan sneakers, just for starters? Well, your wish could finally come true, as this tricked-out showpiece in Arizona just hit the market for a dribble under $24 million.
Dubbed HardtSeasons, the estate was built over several years by Attitude is Free founder Brett Hardt Sr. and his wife Susie, who added an indoor basketball gym so their oldest son could put in some extra work on his game. Through the years, the setup went on to serve as a training facility for more than 60 pro athletes like Bryant, who visited with his daughter Gianna’s Lady Mambas basketball team before they both died in a California helicopter crash in 2020.

“The most exciting day was the day that Kobe Bryant’s people contacted me,” Hardt said in a statement. “This was after Kobe retired and he was coaching his daughter’s team, and they wanted a place to get ready for the top tournament on the West Coast. I got to witness Kobe coach, and it was amazing.
“The respect he had, his way with the young girls was fascinating,” he added. “After practice, we chopped it up for an hour and it was a conversation I cherish. Sadly, five weeks after that visit was the day that Kobe and Gianna perished. Broke my heart.”
Resting in North Scottsdale’s exclusive Prado Estates neighborhood, amid a gated parcel of land spanning nearly five acres, the property was completed in 2017 and is centered around a fully furnished main home offering five bedrooms in a little more than 21,400 square feet of living space across two levels. A separate 1,500-square-foot guesthouse with its own entrance comes with two additional bedrooms, while there’s a combined total of 18 bathrooms.
Among the highlights of the primary dwelling, which boasts tile floors and Costa Rica-inspired wood ceilings, is a double-height living room adorned with a glam fireplace and glass doors opening to the backyard. A gourmet kitchen is outfitted with an expansive eat-in island and a trio of Wolf ovens, and a curving staircase encased within brick walls heads upstairs to a primary retreat that has a luxe bath extending outdoors to a covered space hosting a fireplace, shower, cold plunge, and sauna.
An array of sports-related amenities includes the aforementioned basketball facility, which sits 15 feet below ground and has an 80-by-50-foot court that can be converted for pickleball play, as well as a professional scoreboard, lofty viewing area, locker room, fitness center, and even a private parking area for visitors. A high-tech golf simulator doubles as a movie theater, while a custom room that cost around $300,000 to create features floor-to-ceiling display cases that hold Hardt’s collection of almost 300 Michael Jordan sneakers.
But that’s not all! In addition to a bar-equipped game room and a children’s play space that flows out to an enclosed grassy area, the resort-inspired grounds are spotlighted by not one but two pools, a fire pit, and a nine-hole putting green. Per the listing held by David Newman and Pushpit Tandon of David Newman Partners, there’s also a two-mile jogging track encircling the property.
