Kelly Osbourne Says Parents Sharon and Ozzy's Hospitalizations Were the 'Scariest Thing I've Ever Seen'

"I know exactly what it was. I... had one with you, and I had one with dad," said Kelly while experiencing the "scariest" things she's experienced

Some of the most terrifying moments in Kelly Osbourne's life occurred during her parents' past hospitalizations.

The 39-year-old sat down with her famous family to discuss their "biggest fears" on the Tuesday, April 30 installment of The Osbournes Podcast.

"I know exactly what it was. I... had one with you, and I had one with Dad," Kelly told her mom, Sharon Osbourne, after the group began discussing the scariest things they've ever experienced.

"It was watching you in the hospital when I kept telling them to take your blood pressure, and they wouldn't take your blood pressure, and they finally did, and they realized that you had to have a blood transfusion so quickly that they did it in the room," she told Sharon, 71. "Seeing that was one of the scariest things I've ever seen in my life."

The hospitalization occurred in 2002, in the middle of Sharon's treatment for colon cancer. She is now in remission.

During a May 2017 appearance on The Dr. Oz Show, Kelly recalled seeing "something not right" after her mom "came out of the first cancer surgery for her colon cancer."

"I was looking — and something’s not right, and I asked the nurse to check her blood pressure and she had such low blood pressure they didn’t even have time to give her a transfusion in the ICU, they brought it up to the room," she explained.

As for her experience with her dad, Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly said on the podcast that it was her father's near-fatal 2003 ATV accident.

"It was just me and Dad that was the scariest thing ever," she said. The accident occurred in England while the two were promoting their duet "Changes."

It caused him to break his collarbone and six ribs, along with multiple other injuries, according to the Los Angeles Times. Aside from being diagnosed with Parkinson’s that same year, the rocker, 75, has had a total of four spinal surgeries.
