Kathy Griffin finalizes divorce with ex-husband Randy Bick

A little over a year after filing for divorce, Kathy Griffin and ex-husband Randy Bick are closing the book on their love story.

Griffin and Bick, who were married for three years, finalized their divorce in Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday, according to court documents obtained by USA TODAY. The proceeding was uncontested, which means, in part, the estranged couple entered into a "written agreement regarding their property and their marriage or domestic partnership rights, including support."

Per Griffin's 2019 prenuptial agreement with Bick, the former spouses have agreed to waive their right to collect spousal support from one another, according to the judgment in their divorce proceeding. Regarding property assets, Griffin and Bick shared no community property during the course of their marriage and retain ownership of their separate properties.

USA TODAY has reached out to representatives for Griffin for comment.

The union marked Griffin's second marriage. The "Fashion Police" alumna was married to computer administrator Matthew Moline from 2001-2006. Griffin accused Moline of stealing from her during a 2006 interview on "Larry King Live," adding that she incorporated their marital troubles into her comedic act.

Griffin filed for divorce from Bick in December 2023, according to court documents obtained by USA TODAY at the time. The couple was just four days shy of what would have been their fourth wedding anniversary.

In the divorce filing, Griffin listed the pair's date of separation as Dec. 22, 2023, and cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the breakup.

Shortly after the news, first reported by TMZ, broke online, Griffin took to X and Instagram to post a dour sentiment: "This sucks."
