Katherine Heigl doesn't think she's 'rude'

Katherine Heigl doesn't think she is "rude".

The '27 Dresses' star - who has worked with big Hollywood names including Gerard Butler and Ashton Kutcher in the past - hit back at allegations she is "difficult" to work with.

When asked about the rumours in a Q & A on her Facebook page, she wrote: "Yeah, I've heard those too ... honestly I don't think I am ... nothing makes me more uncomfortable than confrontation or hurting someone's feelings and I would never, ever, actively do so on purpose.

"Of course just like any human being, I've made mistakes and unwittingly or carelessly spoken or acted but I always try to make any wrong right."

She added: "That doesn't mean I won't stand up for myself by drawing boundaries and asking to be treated kindly and respectfully but I don't do that with any rude or unkind intentions, just with the same strength and honesty I think every one of us is entitled to."

Recently, 'Grey's Anatomy' creator, Shonda Rhimes, openly blasted Katherine, saying that she had inspired her to develop a "no a**holes" policy on set.

The pair worked together on the medical drama for five years until 2010 but their relationship soured after Katherine, who played Dr. Izzie Stevens on the show, withdrew her name from an Emmy Award category in 2008, citing that she hadn't been given enough material in the series to "warrant" a nomination.
