Princess Charlotte helps Prince Louis walk in adorable new video

Just when we thought Kate Middleton and Prince William’s kids couldn’t get any cuter, a video has been released showing Princess Charlotte helping her younger brother, Prince Louis, while he tries to walk.

The four-year-old daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge can be seen in the video holding on tightly to her one-year-old brother’s hand, while Prince William holds on to the other.

The whole family were on their way to visit Kate Middleton’s ‘Back to Nature’ garden, which she co-designed for the Chelsea Flower Show.

The adorable footage was released just hours after the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge shared some new fun family photos of themselves at the show.

The family of five looked right at home as they explored the woodland setting on Sunday at the Royal Hospital, in a series of snaps taken by Matt Porteous.

In the new photos, eldest child Prince George, five, helps his father to gather sticks in front of the garden’s den. Kate, 37, can be seen gently guiding her youngest Prince Louis, one, as he toddles about, already a confident walker.

The palace revealed that over the past months, the children have helped their mother gather moss, leaves and twigs to help decorate the garden. Hazel sticks collected by the family were also used to make the garden’s den.

In another photo, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, four, sit on a wooden bridge, with their bare feet dipped into a pond.

George is wearing a teal polo top and navy shorts, while Charlotte is dressed in one of her signature ditsy floral dresses, $120, from Rachel Riley.

Kate is wearing a $164 printed midi dress from & Other Stories with $214 Castaner ‘Carina’ espadrille wedges.

The duchess last week that little Prince Louis “is keeping us on our toes.”

"I turned around the other day and he was at the top of the slide — I had no idea!" she said.

Kate co-designed the garden with landscape architects Andrée Davies and Adam White, to encourage all generations to connect with nature.

In her charity work and patronages, Kate is a strong advocate for the proven benefits the outdoors has on physical and mental health, and the positive impact that nature and the environment can have on childhood development in particular.

The duchess told Monty Don in an interview for the BBC, to be aired on Monday: “I really feel that nature and being interactive outdoors has huge benefits on our physical and mental wellbeing, particularly for young children.

“I really hope that this woodland that we have created really inspires families, kids and communities to get outside, enjoy nature and the outdoors, and spend quality time together.”

The finished garden will be unveiled in full at the Chelsea Flower Show this week. The Queen and members of the Royal Family will visit to tour the gardens and see displays.

Photos of Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte, taken by Kate, were released in April and May to mark their first and fourth birthdays respectively.

Prince George is set to turn six on July 22.
