Here’s What Justin Bieber’s Rep Had To Say About The Online Speculation About His Health

You know Justin Bieber — in his teens and 20s, he was one of the most famous people in the world, which, unfortunately, came with some difficult times.

Justin has talked openly about struggling with drug addiction at the height of his pop star fame during the early 2010s. “There was a sense of still yearning for more,” he told GQ in 2021. “It was like I had all this success and it was still like: I’m still sad, and I’m still in pain. And I still have these unresolved issues… The drugs were a numbing agent to just continue to get through.”

According to reports, Justin stopped using drugs in 2014, and though he’s still working on music, he now enjoys a more chilled approach to fame. He’s been happily married to Hailey Bieber since 2018, and in 2024, they welcomed their first child together, Jack Blues Bieber. Today, the majority of Justin’s public outings are in support of Hailey or charity events — however, that doesn’t mean he’s escaped the public scrutiny of his every move.

For the past few weeks, Justin’s appearance has been the subject of discussions online, with many people making comments about him looking tired or disheveled on public outings. More recently, videos of Justin at a launch event for Hailey’s Rhode cosmetics company sparked even more discourse — with some speculating that the singer may have been under the influence of drugs.

But now, Justin’s representative has slammed the rumors, saying that any speculation he’s using hard drugs is completely untrue. In a statement, which was first shared by TMZ, the rep said that Justin is currently doing well and that the past year has been “very transformative for him as he ended several close friendships and business relationships that no longer served him.”

Justin’s rep continued to say that he’s in a great place in his life, focused on parenting, music, and taking care of himself. They also said the constant rumors online about his mental and physical health are “exhausting and pitiful” and show “people are committed to keeping negative, salacious, harmful narratives alive” despite the “obvious truth.”

As it stands, neither Justin nor Hailey has personally commented on any of this. The soon-to-be 31-year-old has been active on social media and was seen enjoying himself at a charity ice hockey game supporting the Los Angeles fires relief fund this weekend.
