Jordon Hudson, 24, Says Boyfriend Bill Belichick Is 'Overtly Committed' to UNC amid NFL Job Rumors

Bill Belichick is committed to coaching UNC-Chapel Hill's Tar Heels, according to his girlfriend Jordon Hudson!

Amid concerns that 72-year-old Belichick was reconsidering accepting the head coaching position for UNC's Tar Heels, Hudson, 24, is putting the rumors to rest.

The former college cheerleader, who began dating Belichick in 2023, posted a professionally-shot portrait of herself and the head coach sporting Carolina blue looks on Instagram on Thursday, Jan. 16 — just hours after CBS reported that Belichick has still not signed his contract with the university.

"Pictured: two people who are overtly committed to @uncfootball," Hudson wrote in the caption, adding a blue heart and a football emoji.

In the photo, Hudson is holding a football next to Belichick as the couple smiles at each other in front of a blue background, Hudson in a light dress and Belichick in a navy blue suit with a light blue shirt and tie.

After CBS reported that Belichick has yet to sign his contract on Jan. 16, UNC general manager Michael Lombardi said in a post on X that the former Patriots coach was working for the team and off "recruiting" in Baltimore and Washington, D.C this week.

"His focus is on North Carolina football, hiring staff members and developing the team. The NFL isnt a option so please stop making it one. Thank you," Lombardi wrote on X.

Hudson reportedly sat next to Lombardi's wife, Millie, during Belichick's introductory press conference at UNC on Dec. 12.

And on Dec. 27, Hudson found inspiration in her beau's new team, taking to Instagram to share the progress of a UNC sweatshirt she was bedazzling for upcoming games.

Hudson previously supported Belichick’s big move on social media via a post on her Instagram Stories, writing “We are onto Chapel Hill!!!” The comment was a callback to Belichick’s viral 2014 mantra of, “We’re onto Cincinnati,” which he repeated to reporters after a tough loss while head coach of the New England Patriots.

Belichick and Hudson began dating in early 2023. They made their red carpet debut together on Dec. 5 at the Museum Gala at New York City's American Museum of Natural History.

A source close to the couple predicted to PEOPLE in December that his new role at UNC will enhance their relationship. “Jordon is also a busy woman with a lot going on," said this source. "So I don’t see this doing anything but enhancing their solid relationship.”
