Jordan Chiles is flipping, swinging and racing for gold with the support of her family by her side.

The Team USA gymnast was born to her parents, Timothy and Gina Chiles, in 2001 as the youngest of five children, including her older sisters Jazmin and Jade and brothers Tajmen and Tyrus.

Jordan has maintained a close relationship with her siblings despite her busy schedule and is quick to acknowledge the sacrifices they’ve made for her to be able to pursue her dreams.

“My family had to sacrifice a lot of things, especially my siblings, taking me to the gym and doing all these things for me,” she told Teen Vogue in July 2024. “It’s been like that my whole life. But now, I try to shy away from all of that attention. I was that center when I was younger and I want to give everybody else that attention now.”

From their careers to how they support Jordan, here’s everything to know about Jordan Chiles’ siblings.

They were raised in Washington

Jordan and her siblings grew up in Vancouver, Wash. before Jordan moved to Texas to train with her teammate Simone Biles’ coaches. While Jordan moved south with her mom, the rest of her siblings stayed in the area and continue to live there today.

Jordan’s brother, Tajmen, relocated to California for some time but decided to return to Washington in 2021 so he and his wife and three sons could be closer to his family.

“After long talks with the wife, we have decided to move back to Washington,” Tajmen wrote on Facebook in June 2021. “No it wasn’t anything bad, no California doesn’t suck, No it wasn’t bad for us. We both just see the importance of our children being around family.”

Jordan has an especially close relationship with Jazmin who works as a makeup artist and hair stylist. In addition to opening her own salon, Hair Goals by Jazmin Dominique, in 2020, Jazmin travels the world with Jordan, doing her hair and makeup.

Per her salon’s website, Jazmin, who was born in August 1993, graduated from Paul Mitchell the School of Portland and has been doing people’s hair since she was a child.

“As her teen years approached she ventured further into the industry when realizing her younger sister dealt with low self esteem,” Jazmin wrote in her bio. “The passion for Make-Up and Fashion began there when she decided she wouldn't ever allow her sister to feel anything less than BEAUTIFUL.”

She often posts vlogs of herself supporting Jordan at competitions, including at the 2024 Paris Olympics and doing her hair and makeup.

Jade is an event planner

Jordan’s sister Jade was born on March 13, 1995, and works as an event planner and interior designer. She graduated from Washington State University in 2016 with a degree in hospitality business management and has since started her own planning company, JB Wedding & Events, per her LinkedIn.

Jade helped plan Jordan’s 23rd "sneaker ball" themed birthday party in Houston in April 2024. “Event Designing and Planning is so fun when you have the creative freedom to do what you desire! Thank you @jordanchiles for trusting me😊,” Jade wrote on Instagram alongside photos from the event, which featured sneaker decor and Nike merchandise.

Jordan has six nieces and nephews from three of her siblings including two nieces from Jade, three nephews from Tajmen and one niece from Tyrus. Jade often posts photos of her daughters who are both in elementary school and are close to one another.

“Best friends❤️ so happy my babies have each other the way I i [sic] do with my sisters,” Jade wrote in a July 2024 Instagram post of her girls. “One day they will be able to be as proud of each other about their dreams just like I am of @jordanchiles and @jsolovely_.”

Meanwhile, Tajmen has three boys, who he often posts on his Facebook account. Tyrus welcomed his daughter, Daisy, in November 2020.

Jordan’s sister and Tyrus, alongside their parents, came out in support of Jordan at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. Jazmin and Jade posted much of their experience sightseeing and attending the Olympics on Instagram, with Jazmin including vlogs of her time in the Olympic Village as well as atop the Eiffel Tower.

Jazmin also joined TODAY alongside the other Team USA gymnasts’ family members to give an update on Jordan’s headspace ahead of the competition.

“Jordan is doing amazing, I think for us we just like to make sure she’s smiling and that she feels good, that’s our main concern,” she said. “Do you feel good? How do you feel about how you did? And we’re just here to support and love on her.”
