Johnny Ruffo's girlfriend shares update on cancer treatment
The former Home and Away star revealed last year that his cancer is terminal.
Johnny Ruffo's girlfriend Tahnee Sims has shared a sweet Instagram update on the former Home and Away star's cancer treatment.
Taking to social media, Tahnee shared a photo of Johnny giving a thumbs up to the camera as he undergoes treatment for his stage four brain cancer.
Johnny smiled widely for the camera and appeared to be in good spirits, with Tahnee simply captioning the snap with three purple love heart emojis.

The actor and singer most recently took to Instagram to share a Mother's Day post for his mum, with the caption reading, "Sometimes I take for granted the things you do, but just know how much I love and appreciate you, you mean the world to me xx."
His former Home and Away co-star Lynne McGranger commented on the post with a series of emojis, while Tahnee added three love hearts.
'Doing everything I can'
Johnny confirmed last year that his brain cancer diagnosis was terminal but said he was "doing everything" to battle the disease.
"I understand that the cancer is terminal, but you know, I’m going to do everything I can and I am currently doing everything I can to kick its a***," he told 7Life last year.
During an interview with The Project's Carrie Bickmore, "At some point, it will get me, but I'm still fighting, still kicking on."
"Looking up my diagnosis and my tumour, the average life expectancy was three years. And for me, it's now been five years.
"I'm already winning. My goal now is to try and help as many people as I can and also live a happy life."
Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle last year, Johnny shared how much he leans on Tahnee, who he's been with for five years.
“I’m still doing chemotherapy and still battling along, just one foot in front of the other, one step at the time,” he tells us. “It is a challenge,” he admitted, before adding that he’s “so lucky” to have Tahnee by his side.
The X Factor star is conscious of the fact that his girlfriend is going through a tough journey herself. “I feel like she’s battling as much as I am, but also she has to put up with me,” he quips. “Without her, it’d definitely be a lot harder.”
