Jimmy Fallon Tips Hat to Melania as Tonight Show Takes on Trump Inauguration — WATCH
With an early sneak peek at Monday’s Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon was first out of the gate in taking on President Donald Trump’s inauguration, just hours after 45 became 47.
In a sneak peek (above) at his Tonight Show monologue, Fallon comes out in a hat resembling the fetch one that Melania Trump wore to her husband’s inauguration inside the Capitol Rotunda.

“We’re gonna play ‘Who Wore It Best?’ — me, Melania, or The Hamburglar,” Fallon joked.
Continuing with digs at the returning First Lady’s chapeau, Fallon said that onlookers were uncertain if she was there to attend her husband’s inauguration “or to kill Indiana Jones.”
“All day long, Trump kept cutting into the hat, hoping it was cake,” Fallon continued.
Fallon then cued up video of the awkward air kiss shared by Trump and his wife when they first arrived for the inauguration, suggesting that the brim of Melania’s hat effectively served as her “own border wall.”
Eventually pivoting away from the topic of Melania’s headwear, Fallon said that in keeping with presidential transfer-of-power tradition, outgoing POTUS Joe Biden left a letter for his successor in the Oval Office. “He designated it ‘classified,’ so Trump would take it home.”
