Jimmy Fallon Pipes Up With Some Toilet Humor About Donald Trump

Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday imagined what former President Donald Trump told workers during a campaign speech at a North Carolina plumbing equipment factory.

“The Tonight Show” host teed up the joke by claiming the Republican nominee “had a lot of questions” for the staffers.

Then he zinged:

“He was like, ‘What pipes are best for flushing classified documents? Show me those pipes, show me the pipes.’”

Watch Fallon’s full monologue here:

The gag appeared to refer to Trump’s reported attempts to flush records down a White House toilet during his presidency.

White House residence staff “periodically found papers had clogged a toilet, leaving staff believing Trump had flushed material he’d ripped into pieces,” New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman said in 2022.

Trump denied the claim, though, calling it “another fake story,” “categorically untrue” and “simply made up” to boost sales of Haberman’s book, “Confidence Man.”
