Jennifer Garner Declared Gray Is the New Black in a Knit Miniskirt
How it feels to dress up as the cool aunt this holiday season.
Though winter usually calls for, well, dark colors with the moody and monotonous pairing of black on black, there’s a new winter shade looking to stand out this season: gray. Between Kendall Jenner’s long, gray sweater dress and Jennifer Lopez’s luxe, cozy groutfit, it's a reminder that there's one hue that looks good every season. And now, Jennifer Garner is the latest celebrity to prove the muted color is winter-ready in every way.
Following her toned-down outfit from last month, Garner is once again making a compelling case to sport the elegant choice of groutfits for the colder months. On Monday, the actress was photographed outside ABC’s The View in New York City modeling a light gray turtleneck with a darker heather gray knit miniskirt. A pair of gold buckled black pointed-toe pumps, sheer black tights, dainty gold hoops, black-framed eyeglasses, and a cherry red manicure rounded out her pretty modest yet sexy OOTD.

As for her glam, Garner opted for a bronzy complexion, feathered lashes, and a glossy, rosy pink pout, and her shoulder-length brown lob was styled in gentle waves with a middle part.
Garner's knit groutfit comes just days after the actress ushered in the holiday season in the perfect holiday party dress. Celebrating the release of her new Netflix film, Family Switch (out Nov. 30th), Garner makes a quick outfit change from her casual getup of a t-shirt and baggy jeans to a candy-cane striped midi dress adorned with a massive bow. The festive energy didn't stop there, she accessorized the red-and-white striped dress with a candy cane embellished chunky headband and sparkly red patent leather Mary Jane heels.
