Jenna Ortega Encounters a Horrifying Scene in Doritos Super Bowl Commercial

Jenna Ortega secured another fright-filled role, and no, we're not talking about another installation of Scream or Wednesday (at least not yet).

The 21-year-old actress partnered with Doritos ahead of the Super Bowl to be the first to share the exciting news that the brand is adding a few new flavors and shape-shifting its Dinamita line of chips.

In a first look at the upcoming commercial, Ortega got the shock of her life while shopping for the fan-favorite snack: the Doritos Dinamitas she was looking for are nowhere to be found.

And if you think the fear feels a little too real, well, that's because it's very reminiscent of how fans of Dinamita felt a few years ago when they realized the some of the flavors were discontinued in North America, going as far as petitioning to bring them back.

While fans will have to wait until the big game on Sunday, Feb. 11, to catch the full commercial and figure out why the chips disappeared from shelves, the brand isn't making anyone wait that long to find out what the new flavors of Doritos Dinamita will be.

Joining the original Doritos Dinamita–Chile Limón, rolled up into a crunch, citrusy and tangy heat–are four new options.

  • Doritos Dinamita Flamin' Hot® Queso is rolled in the original form and packed with explosive cheesy flavor, spicy heat and an extra crunch.

  • Doritos Dinamita Smoky Chile Queso offers a uniquely robust queso flavor and a smoky, spicy kick in the brand-new shape, Dinamita sticks.

  • Doritos Dinamita Tangy Fiery Lime bursts with sour spice, zesty lime and crispy chomp in the new sticks form.

  • Doritos Dinamita Hot Honey Mustard combines bold, tangy mustard flavors and a hot honey kick in the new sticks form.

"This relaunch of Doritos Dinamita proves that spicy is about more than just heat," Tina Mahal, senior vice president of marketing at PepsiCo Foods North America, said in a press release. "And both Dinamita varieties give snackers looking for that extra crunch a new favorite Doritos form."

All five flavors of Doritos Dinamita are said to be available at retailers nationwide for $2.49 (4 oz.) and $5.99 (10.75 oz), per the official statement.
