In 2022, his face quite literally caught on fire.

Jay was working on his car when he got a face full of gas. He told Today, "So I was underneath it, trying to clog, and I said, 'Blow some air through the line. Then suddenly, boom, I got a face full of gas. And then the pilot light jumped, and my face caught on fire."

Jay suffered burns on 7% of his body from the accident.

As you can see, it's not good!

Like, I didn't even know a face could bruise like that.

Apparently, Jay was staying at a Hampton Inn, took a "short cut" on the way to dinner, and fell down this hill:

Jay seems in good spirits about it, and as this person said, "'Fell down a hill at the Hampton Inn'" makes for a pretty good story.
