Jason Kelce's Daughters Drew a Mascot for His Late-Night Show So He Made a Life-Sized Version of ‘Dragon McFartFartButtButt’
“We went out and got the perfect design team,” the NFL alum said of recruiting his three daughters for the job
Jason Kelce introduced an official mascot to his new ESPN late-night show — and it was a true family effort!
During the Jan. 17 episode of They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce, the former Philadelphia Eagles center informed his studio audience that he and his producers recently decided that their show needed a mascot.
“So we went out and got the perfect design team,” Kelce, 37, revealed.
The NFL alum then showed a clip of him at home with his wife, Kylie Kelce, 32, and their three daughters: Wyatt, 5, Elliotte, 3 and Bennett, who turns 2 in February. The couple is also expecting a fourth daughter.
“Something we thought might be fun is if we created our very own mascot,” Jason explained to his children in the clip. “We need to make our own version of a Swoop,” he continued, referring to the Eagles mascot. “And I thought it might be fun if we all designed it together.”

The girls quickly got to work, though not before Elliotte made it clear that their design can under no circumstances involve “sharks.”
Jason then showed the illustration to the audience before bringing out a life-sized version of the family-created creature‚ which he also revealed his children named “Dragon McFartFartButtButt.”
Kylie — who was also in attendance at the taping, appeared utterly bemused by the life-sized re-creation of her children’s drawing.

When not designing mascots, the Kelce family seems to keep things decidedly more low-key. In a recent exclusive interview with PEOPLE, Jason shared that when home with the family, they enjoy movies and games.
"When we're around, we try and we watch movies sometimes, which we know that they enjoy. I like playing cards with them. I've always been a big cards fan. So like War, we just learned this game, Trash, that they're really into, Go Fish. We just try and play and have fun," he explained.
The athlete also shared that he’s hoping his two eldest start getting into a few sports.
"I want to get them into baseball this year [and] soccer, more than they've been," he said. "They haven't taken to it the last couple of years, so I think this is the first year they'll really start getting into that stuff."
He also told PEOPLE that the girls "already have the little sticks" for field hockey.
"Field hockey and lacrosse are two sports that I love, but they're not quite old enough for that yet. We got the mini sticks and don't mess around with them,” he added.
They Call It Late Night with Jason Kelce airs on Saturdays at 1 a.m. ET on ESPN.
