When we crave a sweet and fruity smoothie to quench our thirst at any time of the day, we head to Jamba. However, smoothies aren’t the only reason we’ll be making a pit stop at our local shop now. Thanks to its brand-new menu item, Jamba may have us skipping Starbucks and heading there instead.

Jamba’s First-Ever Blended Coffee Line

Move over, Starbucks—Jamba is launching two blended coffees this month, and we, like most coffee lovers, are more than ready. Soon, we’ll have the option of Coffee Dream Machine, a blended frozen coffee with notes of vanilla, and Buzzin’ Mocha Mood, a creamy, bold mix of coffee and chocolate flavors.

The two coffee offerings from this line are made with 2 percent milk but can be customized with your choice of other dairy or non-dairy options, including almond, soy, or oat milk.

There’s also the option to add coconut whipped cream to sweeten the deal and turn it into a caffeinated dessert in a cup. You can also "boost" your drink with either protein (whey or soy available), zinc, or 3G energy for an extra pick-me-up.

How to Try Jamba’s New Coffees for Only $2.99

If you happen to be in California this weekend, you can sample these new drinks before anyone else at Jamba's Sunrise Smoothie Tour pop-up events. Starting Sept. 10, you can grab either the Coffee Dream Machine or Buzzin’ Mocha Mood at stores nationwide. And on Sept. 12, you can get them for only $2.99. This price doesn't include any add-ons, such as boosts or whipped cream, but it's definitely a lot cheaper than your Caramel Frappuccino at Starbucks, which can start around $6 or more.

The $2.99 deal is only available in-store (not at kiosks or drive-thru) on Sept. 12. Third-party delivery platforms are also excluded from the promotion. Another thing to note is that this promotional deal is only available while supplies last, so we think it’s best to get there early on Thursday, just in case.
