The Matrix Resurrections actress often highlights her love of animals, and in the summer of 2023, she introduced the world to her newest rescue, a puppy named Lucco. Fans were in awe of the adorable light brown and white dog. She also has a French bulldog named Bandit, whom she adopted in 2020, along with several other dogs and a few cats.
As Pinkett Smith said, they had Fang for 15 years. She adopted him before her separation from Smith, although it's unclear how the estranged couple has raised the family's pets since then.
In the actress' headline-making memoir Worthy, which came out in October 2023, she revealed that she and Smith had been separated since 2016 but were still married. Since the release, Pinkett Smith stated that the couple has no plans for a divorce.
