Who is Jacob Sartorius? The social media star’s dating history is impressive

Jacob Sartorius is one of Gen Z’s rising stars. The pop singer amassed a massive following when he started posting lip-syncing videos on Vine and Musical.ly in 2014 at just 11 years old.

Now he’s a multi-millionaire and a multi-hyphenate as a vlogger, singer and a bit of a teenage heartbreaker.

At press time, Sartorius has 23.9 million followers on TikTok, 9.3 million followers on Instagram, 1.6 million on Twitter and 3.05 million YouTube subscribers.  Meaww estimated his worth to be around $3 million.

Recently, Sartorius made the news when people realized he’s not 11 anymore.

“The other night I got high as s***t, right. And I wrote a song about the two loves of my life,” Sartorius said before singing the lyrics, “YouTube and barbecue chips.”

People were stunned that the tween they grew up with was old enough to be smoking. So who is he, anyway, and what is he up to?

So how old is Jacob Sartorius?

Sartorius was born on Oct. 2, 2002. He’s 18 years old and as his bio says, “don’t let the baby face fool you.”

He’s a singer who has charted on the Billboard Hot 100.

The 18-year-old signed a record deal with T3 Music Group in 2016 and he has released music fairly regularly since then. Sartorius’ debut single “Sweatshirt” peaked at 90 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and No. 10 on the Spotify Velocity chart. Meanwhile, his debut album The Last Text charted at No. 32 thanks to singles like “Hit or Miss” that ranked No. 8 on the Spotify Velocity chart.

Sartorius dropped his latest single “OVER U” in November. It has over 1 million views on YouTube.

He is rumored to have had a number of high-profile relationships and dated Millie Bobby Brown.

The 18-year-old Jane the Virgin and You star was featured in Sartorius’ 2017 “Chapstick” music video. Then rumors began to circulate that Ortega and Sartorius were an item, but in 2019, Ortega revealed that they never actually dated.

The Stranger Things star really did date Sartorius, though, for seven months. Brown and Sartorius announced their teenage romance in Oct. 2017 and split in July 2018.

“The decision with Jacob and I was completely mutual,” Brown said in an Instagram story. “We are both happy and remaining friends.”

Baby Ariel

In early 2020, fans speculate dthat Sartorius was dating fellow influencer Baby Ariel since the two were featured in each other’s vlogs. However, Sartorius cleared things up in May.

“No, we’re not dating, she’s my homie,” he told Hollywire.
