Yahoo Lifestyle Inside the New Luxe Penthouses and Estates Coming to California’s Mammoth Lakes Ski Community
The highly anticipated Limelight Residences Mammoth has unveiled the designs of its swanky new penthouse collection.
The forthcoming branded development has revealed plans for its penthouse and estate collection, introducing three five-bedroom residences to California’s ski-resort community, Mammoth Lakes. Aspen Hospitality, the team behind the Little Nell and Limelight Hotels, is working with RH (formerly Restoration Hardware) to outfit the homes, and buyers will have the exclusive opportunity to purchase the residences fully furnished.

The boutique development marks the first new whole-ownership opportunity in the Village at Mammoth in over a decade. Once complete, it will span six stories and comprise 15 high-end homes. Construction is expected to wrap up by the end of 2025; currently, 40 percent of the residences are already under contract.
The thoughtfully designed homes, priced up to $6.55 million, will be available in two color palettes, and RH has curated a range of furniture and decor to complement the residences. Altogether, the collection offers three half-floor, single-level units measuring up to 4,067 square feet—including outdoor terraces with views of Sherwin Range’s peaks to the picturesque Crowley Lake. Additional features include an open floor plan, electric fireplaces in the primary suites and great rooms, and owner-only elevator access. The digs will also be decked out with gourmet chef’s kitchens equipped with quartz counters, white oak cabinets, and appliances by Wolf and Sub-Zero.

Naturally, residents will have access to a slew of perks, including 24-hour concierge service, heated outdoor pools, valet parking, and a fitness center. Ownership also comes with complimentary initiation to access to the area’s newest private, members-only ski and social club, Mammoth Lakes Mountain Club at Limelight Mammoth.
