Inside Lindsay Lohan and Ayesha Curry’s Double Dates with Their Husbands: ‘Cards, Cooking, Movies’ (Exclusive)
Lohan tells PEOPLE the couples love to 'chat and hang'
Not only have Lindsay Lohan and Ayesha Curry become BFFs, but their husbands have bonded, too.
In the new issue of PEOPLE, Lohan, 37, and Curry, 34, talk about their double date activities with respective spouses Bader Shammas, 37, a financier, and Golden State Warriors point guard Steph Curry, 36.
“I like cards. We play rummy,” says Curry, who is expecting her fourth child this year, joining kids Riley, 11, Ryan, 8, and Canon, 5.
Adds Lohan, who welcomed son Luai last year with Shammas, “Cards, cooking, movies. Then you can chat and hang.”

Lohan and Shammas divide their time between Dubai and the United States, so the Mean Girls star and Curry FaceTime “a lot,” according to Lohan. “But I’m in the U.S. more now, so we’re going to be seeing each other more.”
They got to spend a lot of time together while filming their new Netflix rom-com Irish Wish on location in Ireland. It “didn’t “feel like work,” says Lohan, “and that’s really rare.”
Not only did Curry costar, but so did Lohan’s younger brother Dakota, 27. Shammas is also an exec producer on the film. “It was really great to just be with everyone,” adds Lohan.
The two couples were able to squeeze in some date nights in the Emerald Isle — as long as they didn’t have to film at the crack of dawn.
“We did that a few times,” Lohan of having double dates. “Whenever we didn't have very early calls, because we had some really early call times on this, like 4:30 pick up.”

In the movie, Lohan plays Maddie, a New York-based book editor secretly in love with her star author Paul (Alexander Vlahos). He, however, falls for Maddie’s friend Emma (Elizabeth Tan) and they get engaged after a whirlwind courtship.
At the destination wedding in Ireland, Maddie makes a wish that alters their fates — with comical results. Curry, who plays bridesmaid Heather, says it’s the type of movie where “you can get lost for 90 minutes and have a good laugh.”
The two couples became so close, that when Lohan welcomed Luai last year, she and Shammas asked them to be the godparents of their boy.

That remained a secret until February, when Lohan and Shammas attended one of Curry’s games, and the athlete signed his NBA jersey, writing, "To Luai" and "Your godparents love you!"
Lohan says her coworkers on another movie she filmed recently offered to buy the signed jersey.
“They were like, ‘How much can we get the jersey for?’ I was like, "’Stop asking me,'” she jokes.
Irish Wish is now streaming on Netflix.
