One of Australia’s favourite homewares brands is slashing prices to help shoppers deal with the cost of living.

Retail spending volumes have fallen for the second straight quarter as cost of living pressures tighten the household budget.

ABS head of retail statistics Ben Dorber said on Tuesday it was the largest fall in retail sales volumes – outside the Covid pandemic – since the September quarter 2009.

To stay ahead of the curve, Ikea has dropped prices on more than 700 of its most popular items.

Better yet, the plummeting prices won’t be going up anytime soon.

Here are some of the top items for sale at shockingly low prices.
