An Iconic Candy Is Coming Back and Fans Say 'Life's Worth Living Again'

A long-mourned classic candy from the early aughts is headed back to store shelves, though there is admittedly a bit of a catch, as fans will have to put in a little bit of work to get their hands on them.

Altoids Sours made waves back in the day, though they were discontinued in 2010 due to diminished demand as a customer service representative for Mars told Bustle several years ago.

While the original production company has apparently remained indifferent to consumers' desire to see the tangy candies back on the market, remaining mum on their return when rumors first started floating around several months ago, a third party called Iconic Candy has heard the cries loud and clear, according to Foodstagrammer Snackolator, who revealed that the upcoming release, which will be a Cracker Barrel exclusive, uses the same recipes as the originals for the Mango, Tangerine, and Citrus flavors, and the news has fans jumping for joy as their "Childhood memories unlocked!!!"

"I’ve been dying for these since they left!" one declared, while another agreed that they'd "been waiting for these to make a comeback ever since they left."

"I NEVER THOUGHT I’D LIVE TO SEE THE DAY!!!😍😍😍," someone else celebrated, while another suggested that the release means that "life’s worth living again."

"FINALLY SOMETHING GOOD TO BE RELEASED INTO THE WORLD!!!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻," another commenter celebrated.

Wendy's fans are also rejoicing over the restaurant chain bringing back a fan-favorite Frosty flavor that they say "should have never left."
