Hugh Jackman parties with 'lovely friend' Ivanka Trump
Hugh Jackman has celebrated his 50th birthday by inviting ‘the entire city of New York’ to his party, including the President’s daughter, Ivanka Trump.
The Australian star, who plays a presidential candidate caught in a sex scandal in his new film, The Front Runner, reportedly threw a massive shindig at Urban Zen in West Hollywood recently.
And according to Page Six, the actor’s friend, Ivanka, and her husband, Jared Kushner, were VIP guests on the night.
“There was no snubbing. Everyone was polite,” a source told Page Six about Ivanka’s presence at the party.
Hugh Jackman and Ivanka are long-time friends, with the pair reported to have met in 2010 at the baptism of Rupert Murdoch’s daughters, Grace and Chloe in Jordan.
Later that year, they posed on the red carpet together at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation benefit at Cipriani in New York.
In 2011, Hugh and his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness were pictured attending Ivanka’s Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry boutique opening in SoHo.
Longtime friend Flo Fulton told Harper’s Bazaar in 2011 that Ivanka and Jared chilled out by going out with their famous friends.

“I’ll go to dinner with Ivanka and Jared, and it will be Hugh Jackman and [his wife] Deborra-Lee Furness and them,” she said.
They obviously remained close after that because in 2015 Hugh tweeted that his ‘lovely friend’ Ivanka was enjoying a special weekend away with her husband Jared.
Earlier this month, Hugh opened up to Extra about his milestone 50th celebration, saying his wife was very excited about it.
“If Deb had her way, the entire city of New York would be coming to a party,” Hugh said.
“So, the entire New York City is coming
“And if you’re watching this and you’re not invited, I’m sorry, because everyone else is coming.”
It’s also been reported that fellow Aussies Nicole Kidman and Cate Blanchett were at the bash.
