Home and Away star Todd Lasance is engaged

Australian actor Todd Lasance has announced his engagement to Jordan Wilcox.

The 33-year-old, well-known for his former role as Aden Jefferies on Home and Away, took to Instagram on Monday morning to reveal he’d popped the big question to the love of his life and mother of his child over the weekend.

“I am OFFICIALLY the luckiest man on this planet!!” he wrote.

“Yesterday I asked the woman of my dreams to be my wife. I still don’t know how I was lucky enough to find someone so loving, selfless, gentle, compassionate, inspiring, funny, and the most incredible mother to our little girl I could ever have dreamed of.

“It was perfect. She is perfect. I can’t wait to call her Mrs Lasance,” he concluded.

Jordan also shared a lovely message to her social media account, admitting, “I couldn’t have dreamed up a better proposal”.

“It was such a surprise that I thought it was for someone else until I saw the photos,” she told her fans.

“I can’t believe I get to call this amazing, thoughtful, hard working, supportive, & loving man my fiancé!! i can’t wait for the rest of our lives as a family, Todd James.”

After meeting in 2015, Todd and Jordan welcomed their first child, a beautiful girl Charlie Rose in 2016.

“We aren’t married but it’s the first time I feel I actually could do that in life,” Todd said in a Sydney Morning Herald interview back in 2017.

“I have never said that before, so it’s an indication of where I am at.”

Todd shot to fame after playing Aden Jefferies on Home and Away from 2005 to 2010.

He then went on to star in Aussie productions Underbelly, Cloudstreet and Crownies, before giving Hollywood a crack.

He successfully landed a reprising role as Julian on The Vampire Diaries from 2015 to 2016.

Most recently the actor has been back on local screens on Channel Nine drama, Bite Club.
