Former Home and Away star Demi Harman is engaged.
The 26-year-old Australian beauty, who famously played Sasha Bezmel in the Channel Seven show up until 2015, is set to tie the knot with her American assistant producer boyfriend, Andrew Brooks.
Andrew, who works on the hit ABC show Modern Family, got down on one knee on the 4th of July and asked his girlfriend to marry him.
The pair are believed to have started dating at the beginning of last year, with Demi posting her first-ever Instagram snap with her now fiancé in February, 2018.
“Just said yes, FOUR-ever,” Demi wrote on Instagram, while Andrew also posted a photo on his social media account saying: “One lucky son of a gun…”
Demi can be seen in the snap holding up her stunning oval solitaire diamond engagement ring.
Stateside move
The Australian actress moved to the US in 2015 to pursue her career but she told New Idea in 2016 that breaking into Hollywood isn’t an easy task.
“It's a whole new ball game in terms of acting,” she said.
“I have high hopes and it's just a matter of time.
“It's hard but it's all worth it, and it's exciting because my career can go from nothing to everything very quickly.”
Demi and her long-term partner, Alec Snow, who also appeared in Home and Away, are believed to have split in 2017.
