Hint: This Hidden Section Is the Ultimate Hack to Saving on Lululemon
"Hearst Magazines and Yahoo may earn commission or revenue on some items through these links."
As an avid runner, I have built up a solid rotation of quality activewear over the years — and can personally attest to how expensive it can be. Lululemon is one of our editors' favorite brands known for its soft fabrics and on-trend styles, but did you know there are several insider secrets to shopping the coveted brand?
Fiber scientists and fitness experts at the Good Housekeeping Institute found that Lululemon makes some of the best leggings on the market — so we know they're worth it at full price. But the brand famously doesn't offer promotions outside of Black Friday and the New Year, so finding chic athleisure without splurging requires some if you know, you know knowledge. To help you gear up for your next workout, here are all the under-the-radar ways we like to shop at Lululemon.
Lululemon 'We Made Too Much'
Like the name implies, the 'We Made Too Much' section of Lululemon's site contains hundreds of overstock items, including leggings, sports bras, outerwear and even shoes. We frequently see best-selling styles like Align pants or even the coveted Everywhere Belt Bag listed in this section in limited-edition or out-of-season colors, so it's a great place to check if you're looking to restock on your go-to Lululemon pieces. Just note that you usually have to act quickly to score your favorites, as they often sell out.
Align Sweetheart Bra, A/B Cup
SenseKnit Running High-Rise Leggings
Lightweight Running Jacket
Base Pace High-Rise Running Tight
Ebb To Street Tank
Align High-Rise Ribbed Leggings
Wunder Puff Vest Tech Canvas
Steady State Pullover Hoodie
ABC Classic-Fit 5 Pocket Pant
Lululemon 'Like New'
Lululemon 'Like New' is the brand's resale program. It's designed to help cut down on waste by giving shoppers the option to buy lightly used clothing rather than brand-new every time. Shoppers can also trade in their own Lululemon apparel for store credit (see below), letting you cut down on the amount of items headed to the landfill while clearing out your closet. (According to the brand, they've put more than 1.7 million used clothing items back in action over the years!)
Keep in mind that inventory is limited and often disappears quickly. While the below selects are available at time of publishing, you may have to peruse the 'Like New' section to find in-stock picks.
Everywhere Belt Bag 1L - Resale
High-Rise Woven Short - Resale
Speed Up Legging - Resale
Slim-Fit Trouser - Resale
City Sweat Pullover Hoodie - Resale

Lululemon Trade-In Program
The companion of Lululemon's 'Like New' section lets shoppers trade in gently used Lululemon clothing for store credit. While items must meet specific qualifications — such as no damage, rips, pilling or discoloration — you can earn up to $25 of store credit for each individual piece. Just note that some items, including accessories, shoes, tank tops and sports bras, are not eligible for trade-in.
