Yahoo Lifestyle HGTV Star Alison Victoria Says She's Met Her "Match" in New Boyfriend
With cuffing season upon us, new relationships are beginning to bloom. The latest talk of the HGTV universe? Alison Victoria and her boyfriend Brandt Andersen. While the pair went Instagram official in June (making their official public debut on the 2024 Daytime Emmy's red carpet), they've been turning heads on several red carpets since, and it looks like Windy City Rehab's star has found her match.
Who is Alison Victoria's Boyfriend?
Andersen is an esteemed producer, director, and writer. One of his latest films—the live action feature short Refugee—debuted at the Cairo International Film Festival, and it was was short-listed for an Academy Award, and it also won Best Director, Best Actor, and Best Drama Short at the French Riviera Film Festival. There's a good chance you've seen some of the other films he's produced, such as Everest starring Jake Gyllenhaal, 2 Guns featuring Mark Wahlberg and Denzel Washington, Martin Scorsese's Silence, and American Made starring Tom Cruise.
He has also spent a large portion of his time dedicated to philanthropic initiatives, specifically on humanitarian efforts to aid refugees. Back in 2017, Andersen took a group of filmmakers to the Azraq refugee camp in Jordan and taught filmmaking to Syrian refugee teenagers.
How Did Alison and Brandt Meet?
According to Us Weekly, the pair met at a personal growth retreat. While they started off just as friends, the sparks began to fly and their love blossomed. Alison says, "He is a constant sounding board, protector and support system for me, and for the first time in my life, I care more for him and his well being than I do for myself. We love to celebrate each other and plan nights around those celebrations to make sure we stay present."
The designer continues, "I’ve always known that I bring a level of joy and positive energy to people’s lives and I’ve met my match with Brandt. Together, we are so powerful and magical."
What's the Couple Doing Now?
The pair spent the summer traveling the globe together to promote Andersen's latest film The Strangers' Case, and season 5 of Victoria's Windy City Rehab just premiered last week, with new episodes dropping every Tuesday. Alison will also return to compete on season 6 of Rock the Block, premiering in spring 2025.
