It's that time of year again. The holidays are officially here. Thanksgiving is upon us and that means so, too, is the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
The parade holds a special place in the hearts of so many. We get to see the cultural icons of our childhood floating through the streets of New York in one of the nicest holiday spectacles you'll ever see. It's pretty sweet.
Of course, you have characters like Snoopy, Ronald McDonald, Smokey the Bear, SpongeBob and more who have been part of the parade for years now. But there are also a handful of new characters that have been added to the mix as well. We'll get balloons of Gabby from Gabby's Dollhouse, Goku from Dragon Ball, Marshall from Paw Patrol and more that will fly through the city's streets and delight children across the country.

Florida parents who shared meals together and dined out at restaurants were arrested this week after police found their five children desperately hungry alone in their family home without food, electricity or a working toilet, according to an arrest affidavit. Sanel Canovic, 40, and Azra Nikocevic, 33, were arrested New Year’s Eve and each were charged with five counts of child neglect, according to Miami-Dade jail records.
