Kim Kardashian has been forced to remove a selfie endorsing a morning sickness drug by the FDA.

The US regulator claimed the Instagram post praising drug Diclegis violated advertising laws.

“OMG. Have you heard about this? As you guys know my #morningsickness has been pretty bad,” Kardashian shared with her 42 million Instagram followers.

She also wrote that the drug had been “studied and there was no increased risk to the baby.” Kardashian then went on to share that she would be partnering with the drug’s manufacturer, Duchesnay USA to “raise awareness about treating morning sickness.”

The FDA issued a letter to Duchesnay, ordering the post be deleted.

“The social media post is false or misleading in that it presents efficacy claims for Dicglesis, but fails to communicate any risk information associated with its use and it omits material facts,” said Robert Dean, division director at the Office of Prescription Drug Promotion. He also said it suggests “Diclegis is safer than has been demonstrated.”

Despite the hiccup, Kardashian seems to be enjoying this second pregnancy. Just yesterday she shared a nude pregnant selfie with her loyal following.
