Are Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke Divorcing? Here's Where They Stand

Bravo fans everywhere know that there’s truly nothing quite like witnessing a relationship blossom on a reality show (except maaaaybe the fallout of Scandoval and the demise of Paige and Craig's 'ship, which we still can’t get over).

Enter: Amanda Batula and Kyle Cooke, who met waaaaay back in 2015 and eventually took their relationship public (like...reality TV public) throughout all eight seasons of Summer House.

Now that Summer House season 9 is upon us, here’s everything you need to know about Amanda and Kyle’s romance, from their first encounter to their cheating scandal, pregnancy journey, and the many, many vacations (we’re not not jealous) in between.

Summer 2015

The Bravolebrities begin dating for the first time! But they ultimately decide to cool things off after a while. But in true star-crossed lovers fashion, they end up finding their way back to each other (read: hooking up) by the time Summer House premieres in March 2017. Like, their entire ~journey~ is legit captured by cameras, which is a true win for stans of the couple everywhere.

March 2017

The duo becomes official official during the season 1 finale of Summer House! In the final episode, Kyle recaps the summer and muses that it was “all about figuring out if I was ready for a relationship. I spent the first half hooking up with my ex-girlfriend, which was confusing, and I spent the second half hooking up with other girls, which actually kind of helped because I think I finally figured it out.”

Before you ask, yes, Kyle does end up coming clean to Amanda about the entire sitch. And although she’s understandably furious (same 😬), she ultimately decides to give him another shot. “I don’t know what the future holds,” she says in a confessional during the finale. “I love him.” We’re not crying, you are!

September—October 2017

The couple heads to Greece for, like, a literal month (no, seriously, lol) to cap off the summer season and posts some seriously cute pics. Ahem:

February 2018

Amanda uploads a sweet Insta tribute to Kyle in honor of Valentine’s Day alongside the caption, “So, I could caption this with how much I love you and all the reasons why, but I tell you those things all year round. So today, I want to thank you for coming into my life because my world would not be the same without you in it. Happy Valentine’s Day Sir Kyle Cooke ♥️ I love you.”

Kyle, meanwhile, returns the favor with an equally adorbs post that reads, “❤️ HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY ❤️ I’m no romantic, but @amandabatula deserves a Romeo on a day like today. She is the definition of the world’s best girlfriend: loving, thoughtful, supportive, patient, and beautiful inside and out. Yes, I know I’m extremely lucky and fortunate to call her mine, but I don’t publicly say it enough. Anyone willing to put up with me deserves a gold medal 🥇 and so far, she’s never given up. For that I am thankful. 🙏🏼 I love you Amanda! xoxo 😘.”

April 2018

Amanda updates fans on her and Kyle’s ’ship via a convo with The Daily Dish and reveals, “We’re still living in our own apartments. I still only have a key. I still don’t have a toothbrush. There’s no drawer. But we’re really strong.”

“There’s more conversations about marriage and moving in. And I think the relationship is getting a little bit more serious, and I’ve made it very clear that [Kyle’s] getting old. If I’m not the one, you should probably break up with me because you’re wasting your time. But we’re headed in a really good direction. And like I said, our relationship is stronger than it’s been,” the reality star adds.

September 2018

Amanda and Kyle get engaged! And obvi, the two share the exciting news via iconic Insta posts.

Oh, and FYI, following the engagement, Amanda tells People that it felt “surreal” to take the big step. “Aside from how funny and hot he is, Kyle’s my best friend. He’s the person I go to for everything. And he forces me to be a better person in different ways by pushing me outside of my comfort zone,” she gushes before adding, “Life with him is exciting. And to think he wants to spend the rest our his life with me and I feel the same way, it’s just a real happy feeling.”

Kyle, for his part, gushes, “Amanda’s the most authentic, genuine person I’ve ever met. I really look up to her. She’s incredibly selfless, thoughtful, generous and accommodating. She puts family and friends as the top priority, and bends over backwards for the people that are important to her. That’s what you look for in someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. She’s a hell of a partner.”

March 2019

The season 3 premiere of Summer House starts off with a major (!!!) bombshell that Kyle had been unfaithful to Amanda in the past. “A year ago, I was on a guys’ trip, I blacked out, and I woke up with a girl in my bed. I’ve never felt worse in my entire life,” he recalls during the episode.

However, Amanda sticks by the entrepreneur, and the two mend fences.

In honor of Amanda’s 30th bday, Kyle hops on social media and pens a touching tribute. “My baby turns 3️⃣0️⃣!!! Happy birthday 🥳 to my better half — crazy to think you had just turned 24 when we met almost 6 years ago. Welcome to the best decade of our lives! I love you and can’t wait to marry you this September ❤️,” reads the caption.

September 2021

The Summer House stars officially tie the knot in Amanda’s parents’s backyard in her hometown of Hillsborough, New Jersey. The update is an exciting one, as the couple had to postpone their wedding multiple times due to COVID.

In May 2022, the episode capturing their nuptials airs, and the Loverboy founder hops on Instagram to reflect on the ceremony, calling it “the happiest day” of his life.

“Nothing compares to the feeling of marrying your best friend and letting your other best friend make it official 💍. I know we aren’t the role model couple - we have our flaws and we put them all out there for everyone to judge - but we both know what true love is and what’s worth fighting for. I realize that our family, friends and fans don’t get to see everything (especially the happy parts that make for boring TV) - so I want to thank everyone for their love and support through our ups and downs,” he shares, in part.

During an interview with Us Weekly, Amanda opens up about her marriage to Kyle. “I don’t want to say perfect, but it’s been close to perfect,” she shares, adding, “We have our two dogs right now and we are so happy with the little family that we have. It’s perfect. I would love more dogs. That’s in my future—more dogs!”

The Bravolebrities celebrate their one-year anniversary and Kyle truly delivers with one of his sweet Insta posts.

“Our 1 year anniversary 💍. Reliving the best day of my life with the love of my life @amandabatula. Thank you to everyone for the love and support — we are so grateful ❤️,” writes the entrepreneur.

During an appearance at BravoCon, the couple discusses their first year of marriage with fans. “[I had] the post-wedding blues is what they call it. I definitely sunk into a deep hole of depression and it just was sad. But once I got out of that, I think it was a lot of fun [to be married],” says Amanda in a candid confession (via Us Weekly), while Kyle muses how fast year one has “flown by.”

Amanda and Kyle shut down the DeuxMoi blind item that he cheated on her again. “I laughed at it and I thought the timing was very convenient it, like, came out given what was going on at the time on the show,” Amanda dishes on Watch What Happens Live.

Kyle, for his part, notes that there “wasn’t a night” he was “not accounted for” during the summer, adding, “It’s like you sleep on that tea for eight months and then you send it into DeuxMoi? Come on.”

Fans get an insight into the couple’s baby journey, along with an update on a pregnancy test Amanda takes on Winter House season 3 that ended up being negative. During a panel at BravoCon, Amanda confesses she “hoped it would be negative because we were drinking so much.”

“We weren’t ever ready for kids and we’re still not. We’re practicing, we’re not trying for babies just yet. Our schedules are so busy,” she adds.

April 2024

Throughout Summer House season 8, the couple is captured having a buncha issues that stem from Amanda wanting to branch out from her role at Loverboy and potentially embarking on a solo career endeavor. In an update to Us Weekly, she dishes that she took a “slight step back” from the company “for the sake of our relationship.”

“I think that we were at a place where I would be frustrated about something happening on my end, and he would take it very personally. Or he’d complain about something that I approved, and I made a decision on, and I would take it personally. So it wasn’t great for our relationship,” she confesses.

How-ev-er!!! The creative is “still very much involved” in Loverboy to this day: “I think we needed a little bit of that separation for now... This seems to be working for us right now.”

Amanda is likely launching her own bathing suit company in a move she’s been talking about for the past season! Truly couldn’t be more excited for her if we tried.

October 2024

After months of breakup rumors, Amanda sets the record straight. “It’s the same old schtick with us,” she tells Entertainment Tonight. “Nothing’s new. I feel like everyone would know if something truly was going on. I don’t think we’ve ever been able to keep anything a secret.”

She also admits that she sometimes forgets to wear her wedding ring. “The main thing is that I am normally seen without my wedding ring,” she says. “I forgot to put it on again today. It’s not intentional. I just forget. But it means nothing. I promise you… Everyone knows I’m married.”

Oh, and between Loverboy and Amanda's swimsuit line, the couple reveals they're too "busy" to think about expanding their fam at the moment. As Amanda explains, "We know we want them, eventually, but I feel like we have so much going on, right now, that we're kind of hitting our stride in a few things and it'll happen."

November 2024

Kyle and Amanda open up about the work they've put into their marriage during a chat with Us Weekly. "I mean, we’ve gone to therapy. We’ve worked on ourselves,” Amanda says. “It’s very eye-opening getting to watch yourself back [on TV] and see how you handle different situations. So, we’ve learned a lot and have grown from it… We’re still working on it.”

February 2025

During an interview with E! News, Amanda addresses divorce speculation, ensuring fans that she and Kyle are "doing great." As she explains, "Our entire relationship there have been some sort of rumors going on, from me being pregnant to us getting divorced. It seems to be something new every time, but none of them are true. I'm not pregnant, we're not getting divorced."

Kylie chimes in to add, "We're a pretty open book, and we are by no means perfect. I think that, for better for worse, we've never really held back."
