Woman discovers husband cheated after her best friend gave birth: 'I just knew'

A US woman was left heartbroken after finding out her husband of six years allegedly cheated on her with her best friend – after she made a shocking discovery while changing her friend's newborn baby.

Hailey was excited to help deliver her bestie’s baby after she had offered her a place to stay – but had no idea that it was actually her husband’s child.

The 28-year-old, from Arizona, explained the baby had a rare heredity birth defect on their neck that was identical to her husband's – and after confronting the pair about her suspicions, her worst fears were confirmed.

“I heard rumours that my friend was pregnant and homeless, so I reached out to her. I felt the need to help her," Hailey said.

“We had just got home from the hospital and I was changing the baby when she turned her neck the birth defect popped out. When they’re babies it is really hard to see, and I wasn’t looking for it.

“When I found out my friend was standing next to me, I looked at her and you could just tell. She couldn’t say anything, she just dropped her head and looked to the floor, and I just knew."

The mum-of-four also claims her now ex-husband cheated on her with at least 30 different woman throughout the duration of their marriage – and even had two children with two different women while married to Hailey.

“I was in a lot of shock in the beginning I couldn’t even process what had happened, it was almost like a stage of grief," she said.

“Like you have your shock, your anger, and you come to the conclusion that this is actually real life, this is actually happening.

“I was there for her every step of the way. I actually gave the baby her first bath.”

Hailey, who shared her story on TikTok with her original video gaining millions of views, has since opened up about some of the comments she’s been receiving.

She said: “I’ve had one or two comments who are obviously men and narcissistic who said ‘well if you took care of your man, he wouldn’t have cheated.

“A lot of the comments though have been in support of me but there’s been some heat towards my friend which I try to shut down as soon as possible because that was not my goal."

She also said she has learned to forgive.

“It’s huge for everyone to know that I found forgiveness for myself. I’ve had to find forgiveness for myself and for the children," she explained.

“That’s the main point, you can walk through anything in life, and you can find forgiveness it just heals you from the inside out."

Her husband and friend have not made any public comment.
