Yahoo Lifestyle Hailey Bieber's strawberry-inspired wardrobe featured three looks in one weekend
Hailey Bieber had a sweetly stylish 48 hours this weekend, stepping out in three strawberry-inspired looks. The model-turned-beauty businesswoman put her best fashion foot forward in New York, wearing the trio of outfits to celebrate the launch of her latest Rhode product: a strawberry peptide lip treatment.
It's common practice for celebrities to pay sartorial tribute to their latest film or television projects – see Margot Robbie's playful pink Barbie tour wardobe, Jenna Ortega's goth-glam Wednesday style or Halle Bailey's ocean-inspired Little Mermaid looks, for example – and Bieber has used this to great effect when promoting her latest beauty launch. In a savvy move – in collaboration with her stylist, Dani Michelle – Bieber wore three strawberry-flavoured outfits in one weekend, combining this with a series of social media posts and public appearances.
Bieber's first outfit consisted of a corseted Vivienne Westwood dress from the brand's autumn/winter 2023-2024 collection, in a very apt 'strawberry red' crepe de chine fabric. She added to her elegant ensemble – which she wore to appear on Good Morning America –with a pair of super-high-heeled scarlet mules, a red Ferragamo handbag and gold jewellery.
Next, the model relied on the classic summer style of a white mini-dress (hers was by Marc Jacobs), paired with red Manolo Blahnik heels and the same coordinating Ferragamo handbag.
Finally, to complete her trio of fruity looks, Bieber stepped out wearing a strapless red Ermanno Scervino mini-dress, accessorised with a chunky 'B' pendant necklace, sleek sunglasses and open-toe Maison Ernest heels – showing off her perfect strawberry-red pedicure. Of course she was also wearing Rhode beauty throughout, with extra flush of blusher on her cheeks.
The strawberry peptide lip treatment – just the latest launch from her popular beauty brand, Rhode – aims to lock in moisture and help others to achieve Bieber's signature "natural, glowy vibe".
"My mom and her mom were always very diligent about hydration in skincare," Bieber previously told Bazaar, during the filming of our video franchise Inside My Beauty Bag. "I feel like that really stuck with me as I got older. I remember getting out of the bath and my mom really slathering me head-to-toe in lotion… So I’m diligent about my skincare and body care because of how diligent they were about theirs."
She applies the same minimalistic rules to beauty as she does to her much-admired fashion aesthetic. "My personal beauty philosophy has really leaned into this ‘less is more’ approach," she says. "This minimalistic approach to skincare and even the way I dress – my fashion – has been really what has become my philosophy across all of those things."
