Haiden Deegan Undergoes Hardware Removal
One weekend after defending his 250 SuperMotocross World Championship, Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing's Haiden Deegan had the hardware removed from a pre-season broken wrist.
Although Deegan stated the matter after a few rounds of Monster Energy AMA Supercross this past season, the rumor about the off-season injury spread quickly, even before the 250SX East's first round.
He shared some photos in his Instagram story and a recent post that can be seen down below. (Scroll to see the hospital picture)

Haiden was at the top of the list for the Motocross of Nations for Team USA's MX2 spot, but this surgery prevented him from competing, and he denied Roger DeCoster, AMA, and the team's offer because of it. Individuals in the interweb's comment sections were not thrilled about this situation. They thought he should have had the hardware removed after this coming weekend's MXoN at Matterly Basin in the United Kingdom or thought he was straight out "bluffing."
With that and looking ahead, Deegan has three months until the start of the 2025 season. Will he be ready for his first attempt at the 250SX West division at the opener in Anaheim, or will he need that extra month to enter his third 250SX East campaign starting in Tampa?
