If you do your research and play your cards right, virtually everything you eat over the next few months could come at a discount. First, there was the news that Aldi is cutting the price of 250 popular items to save customers $100 million through Labor Day. Now, Grubhub has announced that starting May 13, Grubhub+ members can take part in the Gold Days of Grubhub+, a four-week-long promotion stuffed with discounts on McDonald’s, Taco Bell, Dunkin’, Popeyes, Wendy’s, Chipotle, and other major fast food and convenience chains nationwide.

For the uninitiated, Grubhub+, which debuted in 2020, is a premium version of the popular third-party food delivery service founded in 2004. The membership costs $9.99 per month, but if you order often enough, it’s worth it: Perks include lower service fees, no delivery fees no matter how many times you order, various deals that are only available to members (such as Gold Days of Grubhub+), and a 5% credit back to your account if you order pickup rather than delivery. Amazon Prime members can also sign up for a free year of Grubhub+.

There are dozens of chains offering hundreds of deals through Gold Days of Grubhub+, so you’ll have to head to Grubhub.com/Gold-Days to comb through them all. But there are certainly highlights: The promotion kicks off with a week’s worth of free fries at McDonald’s, since fries were the most popular item ordered through Grubhub in 2023. Grubhub+ members can also receive a large order of McDonald’s fries from May 13–19, as long as they spend $15 or more. Of course, spending $15 at McDonald’s isn’t that difficult to do these days, and on the plus side, the free fries offer can be redeemed an unlimited number of times throughout the week.

Week 2 of the promotion, May 20–26, is themed around summer road trips, and discounts will apply at a mishmash of chains travelers are likely to encounter on the go. At 7-Eleven, for example, members will get $7 off of any order of $25 or more. Taco Bell is offering BOGO specials on its new Cantina chicken menu if you spend at least $15. Similar discounts will be available at KFC, Dunkin’, Pizza Hut, and Sweetgreen, all of which are strong contenders for a pit stop.

In Week 3, Grubhub+ seemingly hopes to remind its members that they don’t have to stick to ordering food. While there will certainly be plenty of deals in that arena — a free Baconator when you spend $25 at Wendy’s, BOGO wings with any order of $20 at Buffalo Wild Wings — you can also stock up on summer essentials like sunscreen, camping chairs, and whatever else you can find at CVS, where Grubhub+ members can take 25% off orders of $30 or more, up to a value of $15 off. Good news for anyone who needs some aloe vera gel after a day at the beach.

The final week of Gold Days of Grubhub+ is aligned with National Best Friends Day, on June 8. From June 3–9, discounts and BOGO deals will abound at Chipotle, Popeyes, Burger King, Little Caesars, Arby’s, and Chili’s. No matter where you order from, it pays to split a meal with a friend.

A Grubhub representative noted that in addition to the deals from major chains, there will also be more than 20,000 deals at local restaurants that operate through Grubhub+. So again, look over the full list here, and if you’re sufficiently tantalized by what you see, you can sign up for a membership. Just remember, even though there are no delivery fees, you still need to tip your delivery driver.
